After all the rumors and speculations, Apple has finally launched the
much awaited iPad 3today. Equipped with a full HD 3.1 million pixels
display and an all new supercharged processor, the new iPad is all set
to create another storm in the tablet market. It will become available
from March 16thin the US and 6 other countries and will be priced in the range of $499 to $829, same range as the iPad 2.
What makes the new iPad stand out from its competitor, is the fact
that it will be powered by a superfast quad-core A5X chip, which is set
to revolutionize the whole tablet experience. It will be able to handle a
3D game, Sky Gamblers and 50 battling fighter jets at the same time.
This is the power the processor of the new iPad possesses. It will also
have high-speed 4G LTE network on both AT&T and Verizon networks.
Apple claims the battery of the new iPad will last 10 hours at a
stretch. The new device is just 9.4mm thick. The screen of the new iPad
is sharper than a most of the 40-inch HD TVs currently available in the

The new iPad will also have a new 5MP iSight camera capable of recording full HD videos.
The launch was as magnificent as the device itself. Tim Cook, CEO of
Apple started of by saying, “Who will come out with a product that’s
more amazing than the iPad 2? Stop wondering. We are.”
Now it remains to be seen what the potential iPad competitors have to
